In this video we attempt to pitch and pack away without referring to the instructions, and even we managed to do it! This tent is ideal for families like ourselves who consist or 2 adults a 10-year-old and a 4-year-old. It is advertised as a 3-4 person tent. It comes in a suitcase of all things? And the fabric has passed the CPAI-84 test and water proof test as about 5000mm，it is also is UPF 50+. So no getting wet and you know you will be fully protected.
It weighs approx. 12kg in the case and is pretty much the ultimate easy to use tent. Ideal for those wanting to get away for a quick weekend. It comes with pump and it also has the carpet as an additional option which we were able to test. Not just any carpet though. This carpet is inflatable, so it means that you will not need to take air or camping beds. Simply throw your sleeping bags in and you have instant accommodation.
We do review a few items and this we believe, is one of the only ones that has really blown us away. The whole tent was pitched fully with pegs in ground and carpet in place within 5 minutes. It comes with built in groundsheet, pockets, 3 amazing doors each with fly nets! It is rather a funky bright orange, so it will never get lost.
Free Croxx have provided with some other test information such as the fact that even though it may look not sturdy, it is. We inflated and used it in the wind and this tent, when pegged in with the supplied guy lines is very solid. We are unsure of the actual dimensions, but can tell you that it has a height of 1.9 metres, so plenty of room to stand up, and we were able to easily fit our sleeping bags in.
Our kids loved the fact that it was so comfortable top lay in. We did wonder, that as it came in a solid, rigid suitcase, would we ever get it back into it? But yes, we could. And the deflation and packing away is actually as quick as the pitching! So total pitching and un pitching, packing away time is all less than 10 minutes!!
This tent is as quick as a pop up, but far more sturdy and better quality and is a decent size. How may pop up tents come with a luxury carpet and allow you the height to stand up in them? One minor point was as as it is such a bright colour, you could find yourself being woke up early? But that is far outweighed by the positives of the future tent. This is one tent that we definitely be using for quick weekend breaks. It is ideal for fishing, festivals and anyone that loves camping with the basics. All you need is sleeping bags, a couple of chairs a BBQ and away you go.
We have never heard of Free Croxx and I doubt many others have, but we do believe that this really is a good start from this manufacturer and apparently, they have more designs coming out soon. The Bubble Eye tent is their first, what appears to be breakthrough product, and if this is a sign of things to come, then other tent manufacturers have definitely got some serious competition. So how much does it cost?
Free Croxx has informed us that these incredible family tent price has not yet been fully decided. But it is expected to be between £500 – £800, pending on accessories and the package chosen.
