Situated just 2 minutes off the A30, in Radnor near Redruth in Cornwall, this campsite and caravan park may not be to any beach, but the grounds, staff and facilities more than make up for that.
With a vast number of pitches that varying from serviced hand standing to premier grass pitches which are also fully serviced, with EHUs (Electric Hook Ups) and water points. There are amazingly clean facilities that are easily accessible from all areas of the park no matter where you are pitched.

All the shower and toilet units that you find around the not only have men’s and ladies’ showers but also have family shower rooms which we found to be really great when it gets to the end of a day at the beach when you need to shower the sand off the kids.
They also have a selection of beautiful static homes, some privately owned and some available for hire. So even if you do not have a tent or caravan, this is still a place you can stay. It has a stay and store service for caravans, that starts at a mere £38 per month and with CCTV being present in all areas of the park, you can rest assure knowing that you caravan or camper is in safe hands.
With great beaches such as Perrenporth, Portreath, Chapel Porth beach and beautiful towns such as Falmouth, St Ives and even Newquay being all with a 30-minute drive, we found this to be the ideal location.
And for those that want to venture a little further you will find Lizard Point, Lands End, beaches such as Praa Sands, Porthcurno and the stunning Kynance Cove beach within and hours’ drive. To see more of Kynance Cove, the best beach in Cornwall and UK watch : • Kynance Cove | Be…

The site does a have little shop in the reception area that caters for all the basics, such as milk, bread butters, cereals, soft/alcoholic drinks and ice creams and it also has a great bar and restaurant called The Shaft Inn. And we have to say we cannot fault but only recommend the food there. Great value and great tasting. Other campsites we have visited normally have bland food in the onsite eateries, but this is an exception. All food, even the pizzas were freshly made and you could easily believe you were eating in an Italian.
It also has a Pool table a great terrace and a luxury conservatory dining area. Just opposite the pub/restaurant there is a great children’s play area ideal for kids that have had enough of playing ball or frisbee in the lovely open caravan & tent pitching fields of the site. Overall, we found this to be the best camping holiday that we have had to date, the kids loved it especially as we were lucky enough to have good weather, so it allowed us to visit all the stunning beaches.
Would we visit again? Most definitely. And if you like a clean site, with amazing a facilities that is in the perfect location, than we would certainly recommend Globe Vale holiday Park.
